You will need a receiver like the Draw-Tite Ultra Universal Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-07 for your 1977 Buick Estate Wagon. We currently do not carry a custom fit receiver for your Buick. This universal receiver will allow you to fit a 2" receiver on a frame up to 44" wide. The 7" tall mounting brackets allow you to bolt the receiver on or weld it on.
